5-Speed Swapped: 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC

The Lincoln Mark VII 1986-1992 (originally called the Continental Mark VII from 1984-1985) rode on the Fox platform shared with the Mustang, Thunderbird, and Cougar. It was powered by Ford's legendary 5.0 V8...but saddled with a basic 4-speed slushbox but this next owner has fixed that with a few parts from a used Mustang. Find this 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC with 5-speed offered for $3800 in Douglas, PA.

I have a black with grey leather interior 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC for sale. It has the factory 5.0 HO (High Output) V8 (302 small block ford) and I converted it to a World Class T5 5 speed manual transmission. It has the factory 8.8 LSD rear differential with 3:27 gears. It has the factory shorty headers with an off road H-Pipe with Flowmaster Super 10’s mufflers that dump right at the rear axle. When I did the tranny swap, I added a Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter. The car has around 135,000 miles and runs well. It sounds mint! It turns heads when people hear you driving by. The car is really solid, but has very little rust near the rocker panel area. It is barely noticeable. All in all it is a decent shape car. The car can use some work here and there. It’s not a show car by any means. It’s just a fun car too tool around in. It’s pretty quick and sounds great. It still has the factory all 4 corner air ride suspension. It still works good while driving, but sinks down over time when parked. I never did anything about it because it fills up quickly and rides nice. Call or I prefer text Kevin for more information. I only have a few pics of the car in my phone, but I can take more if needed. Thanks
