1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6

Before we get to far into the details of this next car, I've got to point out the major elephant seal in the room -- this thing has a slushbox auto.  But maybe that is okay in a car that was never designed to clip apexes or let you heel-toe.  This is a car built for cruising down the highway at something moderately near the legal limit.  This is not a Fitbit Versa 2 or an Apple Watch 5...this is a TAG Heuer...it is mechanical beast that is equal parts jewelry and status...and certainly not something you'd want to get wet.  And the red pin stripe interior is wicked.  Find this 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6 offered for $4000 in Ladera Ranch, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Originally purchased in Beverly Hills in 1993 and ended up with Mechanical guy for 17 years and both they give it a lot of LOVE.

The car almost perfect everything single thing still works fine like in 1993. But you can not tell this car has been driven over 270.000 yes the original miles on the car about 270k will Mercedes-Benz build this Car to run over Million Mile.

The dashboard replaced before for Gas gauge wasn’t working they installed used Gauge with 159k miles. Who care ?? The car over 150k no one care if the Gauge says 159k.

NO MECHANICAL ISSUES AT ALL.
Engine half rebuild last year maybe, new tires, brakes work great, Abs completely fine, no check engine, all Electric windows, Electric Right Side mirror.
All suspension replaced before.

Most mechanical parts replaced before.
6CD changer Included plus new stereo system Boss.

  1. When I think of cast iron solidity vis a vis Benz’s of yore, I have to admit that the 190 does not immediately spring to mind. It probably should. The red striped interior doesn’t exactly say “stately” to me, though. Maybe not Fitbit, but TAG? I’m thinking more Tissot.

  2. "Engine half rebuild last year maybe"

What does this mean? 3 of the 6 were rebuilt, but the other 3 not so much. The top half was rebuilt but the bottom end not so much. Do they not know if any of this actually happened? Maybe is a word best avoided when reading for sale posts.
