Who You Callin' a Pajero? 1992 Mitsubishi Montero 4X4

Mitsubishi is an oddity among the major Japanese automakers.  It doesn't have the "reliability" stamp of Honda/Toyota, but it doesn't make many "fun" cars like Subaru (except for the Evo and maybe the VR4 things...but that is a story for another time)...but you shouldn't overlook some of the 90s Bishis because they offer a surprising bang per your buck. Find this 1992 Mitsubishi Montero 4X4 offered for $5999 in Orlando, FL via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

  1. The "Habla Espanol" note in the ad makes the title even funnier: It's likely the current owner definitely knows what's wrong with the name these trucks had in the Eastern Hemisphere.

  2. I had a much earlier one when the kids were still home and I could never get it much over 50 mph on the highway, the kids drove me nuts when I made them ride in it and could not get rid of it fast enough. Probably partly my fault....

I still keep my eye out for a 1995 Montero SR with the 24 valve engine. That was a sweet truck.

    1. Yeah...sorry about the spammers these days, I've got the full on death to all spam filters on via google/blogger, but they just seem to figure out work around for their poker pages, escort services, and beard trimming services. I have set the older posts to "moderated comments" so that a DT admin has to approve the comments, but the new posts are still free for all. Lemme go nuke some spam comments now.
