Luxo F-150: 2006 Lincoln Mark LT Pickup

Lincoln first released their attempt at the luxury pickup in 2002 with the Blackwood...which didn't sell many (3300 according to interweb sources) and was canceled within 15 months of launch.  The product planners at Lincoln were still convinced they could sell a gussied up F-150..and in 2005 they released the Mark LT...which then lasted till 2008 with something like 10,000 sold per year...which wasn't bad, but not good enough to survive the carpocalypse.  Anyway, find this 2006 Lincoln Mark LT Pickup offered for $3950 in Cape Coral, FL via craigslist.  Tip from Dascpcu.

See a better way to drive an F-150?

  1. How is a top of the line F-150 not expensive enough? Who said, "I'd like to have an F-150 Lariat but I'm worried I'm not spending enough."

    1. Or, I'd like to spend a crap ton of cash on a truck, but I'd like to be too scared to off-road it or haul a bloody deer carcass in it.

  2. Talk about depreciation. What did this thing sell for new? $75k +

    1. Right around $40K. Still, not cheap in 2006.

    2. Call it $36k of depreciation over 180,000 miles or about $0.2 per mile. Just bought a low-mileage Mercedes diesel that had depreciated $1 per mile! I hope to do better than that going forward if I can afford to keep it on the road.
