  1. That thing is cuckoo! Make sure that your life insurance premiums are paid up before you take it out on public roads.

    1. I'm with you, DoctorDel. Go through the car, sort it out, make sure every bolt and nut are tight, and the suspension/brakes/drivetrain are happy, and you've got a helluva ride.

  4. I owned one of these (prelitigation) back in the UK and am currently in the process of brining a Caterham that’s just hit 25 years old into the US.
I’m surprised the feds allowed them to bring in a ‘Q’ plate car, which by its very nature indicates questions about the cars age (needs to be 25yrs + to qualify). Even so, this is a bit of a bargain.
For years I’ve been chasing having the ‘fastest’ car on the road, but Tesla has killed all that and I realized that most truly fast cars aren’t really that much fun to drive. So I’ve reverted to a seven as it’s about as much fun as you can have, within the speed limit.
Others on my list were MG midgets and supercharged MX5s.
As there would be around $2.5k tax and transportation on this Westy, plus the painful paperwork, this is a bit of a deal that will leave a huge grin on your face!
