Original Condition: 1970 Dodge Polara

You know what they say -- they are only original once.  To that I've added a corollary that states: I'd rather have original faded paint than a cheap respray.  Even a nice paint job isn't going to be as well adhered to the metal as the factory paint--don't ask me why, I'm not a chemist, but I can tell you that I'd love to have the experience of an original paint classic like this next car. Find this 1970 Dodge Polara offered for $7000 in Gouldsboro, PA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

  1. Beautiful. You can seat six people and still haul more cargo in that massive trunk than today's puny pick up boxes!

  2. Wow, it must be C-body season here at Daily Turismo - two door C-bodies, no less. This one looks like it would be a nice cruiser - or if I wanted to really daydream, I could get this and the rattle can black Custom 880 with the big block posted earlier, so I could pick which car to drive depending on whether the angel or demon on my shoulder was whispering louder that morning.

  3. Not that I know every model name out there, but I have never heard of a POLARA! I dig it!

  4. I had a '69 4 door with a 383/4v that my Granny gave me in the late 80's. Great ole C-body and a good runner. This one looks to be super clean, too bad it's a small block. These big tanks need more that 318/360.
