Not a Ferrari Kit: 1975 Fiberfab Aztec 7 w/ Ford V6

I always find it interesting when a seller offers a car for sale on craigslist, but apparently has little idea of what kind of car he/she is actually selling.  The seller lists this as a "Ferrari" kit car, but there was no Ferrari that looked like this thing back in the day -- and the car is a Fiberfab Aztec 7, which was modeled to resemble Marchello Gandini's 1968 Paris Auto Show concept known as the Alfa Romeo Carabo...again...not a Ferrari.  It isn't a bad looking example of a Fiberfab kit and is probably worth the low asking price. Find this 1975 Fiberfab Aztec 7 w/ Ford V6 offered for $1500 in Woodcrest, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

From the seller:
1975 Ferrari Kit Car

cylinders: 6 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
odometer: 25000
paint color: red
size: compact
title status: missing
transmission: manual
type: coupe

1975 Ferrari Kit car, Back in the 70's a few of these cars were produced, they are rare. Car is equipped with a 1975 Ford Mustang II V-6 ,170 cid with 197 HP. with 4 speed manual transmission. Suspension is all Volkswagen. Gull wind doors, hood raised from the back, all fiberglass body. Interior is great shape. Car has been sitting covered in storage garage for the last 15 years, car is in running condition however, it does not stay running for very long as it needs the carburetor rebuilt. the rubber hose fuel line in rear is also leaking gas, needs replacing. Brakes do not work, pedal goes to the floor.

This is from sitting for 15 years, system will need to have air pumped out of the brake lines. Has a bad radiator hose leak as well. Car is going to need some TLC to get it back on the road again. This is a rare and cool looking car, worth spending a few hundred dollars to get it back on the road. I do not have the title to the car, it was lost during a move in 2005. Car has a vin number inside drivers door, very easy to get a title, has not been registered in 15 years and the car is no longer in the DMV system. No fees due.

  1. tht front overhang must be a joy at any intersection , speed bump or transition, assuming this or any Fiberfab vehicles are ever actually roadable.

  4. I swear, wheels could take this to the next level. Some sort of Campagnolo looking pattern would just be awesome.
