VTEC for the iGeneration: 2002 Acura RSX Type-S

This next car comes from SecondMouse who writes: Had to pass this on also, as finding these things in original, unmolested condition with the type-S package and the 6 speed manual (and fairly priced) is about as likely as finding the Hope diamond in your coffee grounds one morning.  If even half of what is in this ad is true, and assuming it isn't some variation of the latest Craigslist scam, it is a steal for someone in the pocket-rocket hobbyist community.  Find this 2002 Acura RSX Type-S offered for $3999 in Houston, TX via craigslist.

  1. I'm not a fan of the "tooth mark" headlights and taillights used on those years, but seeing one in that good condition with that low miles at that price has me almost tempted to do a fly and drive.

    1. oh and a 'V4' model at that. CL ads, always a good source of car knowledge based comedy.

    2. I was struck by "Enterprise Lease Truck"

Among the craigslist keyword spam terms are Fleet, Vehicle, Tunning, Mitsubichi, and Shif Stick.

Isn't a Mitsubichi one of those little hairy dogs and the Shif Stick is the thing they chew on?

  4. Looks like it might have gone through an insurance auction recently.2002-acura-rsx

    1. From houston, no readily apparent damage fixed, overly rusty rotors and inner wheels? Screams flood car

  5. There's definitely more to this story that the "one owner" isn't explaining. That auction info says clean Ohio title, but the car is in Houston. OK, but it probably means this RSX learned to swim (or at least hold its breath for a long time under water) to be where it is today.
