Old Man Style: 1974 Peugeot 504 Wagon

The following tip came with words from Erik202: Look, I know most of your readers are probably more into a car in southern California than one in Alberta, Canada but here's another one from my region. It's a wagon with a manual transmission and Diesel engine.... I know you're asking yourself; could it get more DT than this? Well the answer is yes because its also French. If all this isn't enough the laughably weak Canadian dollar brings the price down to about $4526.40 USD. Find this 1974 Peugeot 504 Wagon located in Strathmore, AB, Canada via Kijiji.net.

I bought this car in October and drove it for a month. It's parked for the winter. I'm selling because I got into something different. Feel free to ask any questions.

  1. Ticks a lot of boxes for me, but it's a long way away and I'd have to get it into the US and legally titled/registered. Still, it's an awesome example and I haven't seen one in the states for years. Thanks for posting it. I wish these were as easy to find as the W123. Both are pretty bulletproof.

    1. Just so you know, importing into the US from Canada is pretty easy, as long as the car is over 25 years old. Some states would throw a monkey wrench into things due to emission rules (I'm lookin' at you, California) but most do not. Just food for thought....

  2. Great minds think alike.

  3. French, so supremely comfortable. These are reputed around the world for reliability. And a wagon! And a manual gearbox! Alberta would be a hell of a trip from Ontario at this time of year. Damn, DT, why did you do this to me?

  4. That Peugeot 500 series styling, looks great every time. Good thing it's so far away from me, or my bank account would be in trouble.

I speak Canadian.let me translate: "This car is a piece of shight and I have to dump it as quick as possible" "One of you suckers has got to bite"
