Simple Things: 1989 BMW 535i E34

The simple things in life are typically the best.  Like a sunset.  Or a walk along the beach. Or a glass of cheap bourbon.  Or a nachos bellgrande from taco bell. Or a 5-speed manual transmission equipped German touring sedan with a crisp inline-6.  Yeah.  I wonder if I can eat nachos without spilling my drink* while driving down to see the sunset? Find this 1989 BMW 535i offered for $4,500 in Bellingham, WA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

I'm selling my 1989 BMW 535I. I love this car, it's extremely easy to drive and never lets me down, I will miss it.

Car starts up every morning with zero issues, never left stranded with the M30B35 engine being bullet proof, this is the most reliable BMW model ever made. Dealership maintained with maintenance records to show that. Freshly detailed and daily driven. I achieve 18-22MPG and manage 400 miles of range per tank.

Car is Alpine White II - Small ding in front passenger fender, slight rust on bottom of driver fender, scrape on rear bumper 8/10
Interior is Black Buffalo Leather - Slight creasing in front seats, no tears 8/10
BBS Style 5 wheels - No curb rash, great condition, full size spare Style 5 in the trunk 10/10
Accessories all present - Jack kit, tool kit. Aftermarket head unit with USB and Aux inputs, all speakers work with no crackling.
Drivetrain - 5 speed G260 shifts buttery smooth, clutch is brand new with 300 miles, 3.43 LSD locks easily.
Electronics - All but 2 of the electronics work, rear drivers door won't unlock, and blower motor only works on max speed 9.5/10

*Please don't drink and drive.  I joke about bourbon on this site, but drinking and running other people over with your car is about the most uncool thing you can do this side of driving a Prius with a baby on board sticker.  Seriously, just don't.

  1. This can and the e39 have aged aged so well. Proof positive that simple lines and proportion can make a great shape.
