Mid Week Match-Up: Air Cooled Budget

I had the good fortune to attend the 2018 Luftgekühlt show this past weekend at Ganahl Lumber in sunny Torrance, CA. Luftgekühlt is a pop-up car show that invites something like 500 of the best air cooled Porsche machines from around SoCal, and co-founder (LeMans winning driver) Patrick Long shared his thoughts on the event with DT (video in the works) and he mentioned that people can get into an aircooled Porsche (like a 914) for less than $10k...which sounds good to me.  Anyway, for this week's Mid Week Match-Up, help us find the best cheap aircooled P-Mobiles Porsches.

I found this 1973 Porsche 914 here on eBay bidding for $4,801 with a few hours to go, but I bet you can find something better!!

  2. Always loved the 914's.

This one is said to have low miles and looks very clean.

Just gotta lose the hideous wheel covers.

    3. Google searched the photo....someone thinks that car is on their lot in Dallas. So does the windshield sticker.

    4. Came to mention the same thing; that picture is from a dealer in the Dallas suburbs that deals mostly in 911s. Between the too-low price, stolen pictures, and not-extensive write-up, this is a scammer.
