Death Kart: 2000 Dodge Neon-ish

Just because you could drive a vehicle on the street does not necessarily mean it is "street legal"...or does it?  Does driving it around and having your local fuzz laugh at your mean it is legal or just tolerated?  Street tolerated does have a good ring to it. Find this 2000 Dodge Neon-ish thing offered for $1195 in Sparta, GA via craigslist. Tip from Matt C.

  1. Well, it's...errrr, um... it.....um..... it has a nice fuzzy steering wheel cover!

To his credit, he realized that the unibody had an important role in stiffness. His bracing is crude but present. Oddly, my biggest concern is "where did that windshield come from?". It looks like something he recovered when Aunt Millie remodeled the kitchen. My advice to the lucky buyer is: Wear a full face helmet, and keep the visor down.

  2. With the pupils drawn on the hazed-over headlights for eyes and that odd nose thing on the hood you know that this thing has a cute name. Not handsome enough to be called Kermit. Maybe Gollum?
