Seems Expensive: 1992 Nissan Cima III Y32

The Nissan Cima was first sold in the Japanese market as a high end luxury cruiser with a V8 and was eventually rebadged as an Infiniti Q45 for the US market...but this next car comes from an ancient time when the Japanese were just breaking into a market dominated by the Germans.  Find this 1992 Nissan Cima III offered for $8,500 in Mobile, AL via craigslist.  Tip from Wesley.

From the seller (who mostly copied from wikipedia...I think).

Up for sale is a 1992 NISSAN CIMA III, imported from Japan to the USA. The Nissan Cima (Japanese: 日産・シーマ Nissan Shīma) is a large full-size luxury sedan produced by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. for the Japanese market. The car's name is derived from Spanish for "summit". The hood ornament uses an image of an acanthus leaf. The acanthus leaf was commonly used by classical Greeks to make a wreath for use as a crown. Many JDM or "Japanese Domestic Market" vehicles were never Imported into the USA, so we have to wait for 25 years to get some cool cars. The Nissan Cima III,was only available with the VH41DE, V8, a short-stroke version of the VH45DE found in the first Infiniti Q45. The air suspension introduced in the previous generation was retained along with Full-Active Suspension that was available on the USA-spec Infiniti Q45. Its appearance was said to reflect a more British appearance, both inside and out. An analog clock, found on most USA-spec Infinitis during the same time period, also appeared in this vehicle. In the U.S.A, vehicles must be 25 years old in order for them to be legally imported and driven without the worry of having them impounded, seized or crushed. This Nissan Cima is a one owner car from Japan, with 93,067 kilometers which is 57,829 original miles, a brand new battery from Walmart as of Sept.1, and four brand new tires as of Sept 16, A/C blows cold, and is 25 years old and Federally Exempt and has a clear Alabama Title. I also have a 1992 Toyota Crown Majesta Type A, Luxury Sedan for sell in Mobile,Alabama and can get Right hand drive Mercedes Benz, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Honda, luxury, compact or sport cars imported to Mobile,Alabama. The entire process takes around two months from sourcing and buying the car in Japan, shipping the car to the USA, Clearing Customs and picking up the car from the Port, getting the car Titled and you owning your imported car legally and being able to drive something around very unique!

See a better way to drive vintage JDM junk?
