Classic Sedan: 1965 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass

The first generation Oldsmobile F-85 was a unibody compact that didn't sell particularly well (everybody wanted a Corvair!), but the 2nd generation, introduced in 1964, was upsized to the body-on-frame A-platform (shared with the Chevrolet Chevelle, Buick Special, and Pontiac Tempest).  This next example is a 4-door, but the price is great.  Find this 1965 Oldsmobile F85 Cutlass offered for $3,500 near Ft Myers, FL via craigslist.  Tip from Dascpcu.

From the seller:

This car can sell itself... Though I've decided to let her go... I am just too busy to give her the attention she needs... Which isn't much... New starter... New tires... Hei distributor w/8mm wires... New belts...330 Rocket engine with about 50,000 miles on the rebuilt original motor.. The body is solid but there are a few spots of surface rust... Everything works in it... Rides very good and smooth! Come see for yourself... No low ballers...Thanks for checking her out

See a better way to drive a classic V8?

  1. It might sell itself if we could see a picture of the entire car...
