5.0 V8 Power: 1986 TVR 280i Convertible

What is the only thing hotter than a Phoenix sidewalk right now?  A sunfire yellow TVR 280i that is powered by a Ford 5.0 V8.  YES!  Find this 1986 TVR 280i Convertible offered for $15,750 in Amherst, NH via Tip from Rock On!

The 280i (aka the Tasmin) was penned by noted Lotus Elite/Eclat designer Oliver Winterbottom and built from 1980 to 1987.  Winterbottom must have had a thing for door stops or cheese wedges as most of his designs had a noticeable wedge shape, and the 280i Tasmin could be the Triumph TR7s long lost twin.

The original Ford of Germany built 2.8 liter V6 has been tossed aside and replaced with a 5.0 HO V8 from an 80s/90s Mustang...which is a great choice because engine swaps should be kept in the family.

See a better way to drive yellow?
