Coughin or Coffin? 1970 Volkswagen Custom

It might be months from Halloween and the DT season of horrorods, but that didn't stop this next seller from putting what is probably the best looking coffin-car I've ever seen. And I don't say that lightly!  Find this 1970 Volkswagen Custom offered for $12,000 in Los Angeles, CA via craigslist. Tip from Sean S.

The seller built this coffin on top of a Karmann Ghia platform in what was probably not an intentionally ironic build.  Homebuilt cars aren't known for being safe in the least bit, particularly when you are surrounded by splinters and buckled in with a lap belt.

See a better example of tomb-tomb?
