Singer Motors Limited was founded in 1874 as a bicycle building business out of Coventry, England -- but it wasn't until the 20th century that founder George Singer began making motorized 2-wheel, 3-wheel, and finally, 4-wheeled vehicles. Fast forward a few years, and it was taken-over and run into the ground by the Rootes Group, but not before they built a few cool cars like the 4AD Roadster. Find this 1954 Singer 4AD Roadster here on eBay bidding for $3,650 with a few days to go, located in Willoughby, OH.

I don't know, do you blame Kenny From The Block or the Japanese who started the drift thing for this? I get going sideways with a healthy dose of opposite lock is fun, but I'm not so sure about it when it involves a tractor seat, Harbor Freight engine and the obligatory skull. Find this 2016 Drift King Trike for sale in Sequim, WA for $1,400 via craigslist.
Have you ever reached the end of your rope with a car? Done, over it, no mas, or get out of here might be some common refrains said when you get to the breaking point. Today's Saab has a unknown issue that has rendered it immobile and offered at a dirt cheap price. Find this 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero for sale in Bethel, CT for $650 via craigslist.
BMC in the 1960s was well on its way to becoming the behemoth British Leyland, creating new badge-engineered models at a rate even GM would baulk at. The most radical however, was based on the large Austin A110 saloon, was this Vanden Plas. The bodywork was made more upright, removing fins and a higher roof, but that wasn't the most significant change. That was left for under the bonnet, where a 4-Litre Rolls-Royce engine could be found, sourced from their Ferret military vehicle. Find this 1964 (or 1966) Vanden Plas Princess R for sale in Minto, NSW for $5,500 AUD ($4,150 USD at the time of writing) via gumtree.

Welcome back to another edition of the What Am I? puzzle, and today I am going to flip the puzzle on its head. Instead of showing you some close cropped photo of some pile of parts, I am going to show you everything in the photos except the car.
On the top of my list of my favorite unpronounceable automobile manufacturer names sits something from Korea called Ssangyong. Do I pronounce the second "s" if there is only one? Maybe, but what does it sound like when you've got 49 of them sitting in a dirt lot sans powertrains? Find this lot of 49 2009 SsangYong Actyon Sports Pickups here on eBay bidding for $200 reserve-not-met with 6 days to go located in Ontario, CA.
I love a good engine swap, just like any red blooded American, but out here on the west coast there is a entity called the California Department of Motor Vehicles and it doesn't look kindly on people shoving coal powerplants into their passenger vehicles, which makes interesting engine swaps on modern vehicles interesting, but difficult to register & drive. However, this next car has a little sticker on the door jam that permits its polar bear asphyxiating engine to be driven on the same traffic plagued roads as Toyota Prii, city buses and electric mopeds alike. Find this 1984 Jaguar XJS with Chevy V8 offered for $2,500 in Menifee, CA via craigslist.

The Fiat 128 was a front drive econobox that was released before the roads around the world were clogged with similar piles of garbage, which makes it innovative or hated depending on how you feel about front-drive econoboxes. Personally, I'm ambivalent and prefer to treat them like slow moving chicane cones with a variety of high horsepower proper-wheel-drive vehicles, but sometimes you just want a fuel efficient box with wheels. Find this 1977 Fiat 128 3P offered for $6,000 in Tacoma, WA via craigslist. Tip from Camion di Carburante.

Mention the name Skyline to anyone who grew up playing Sony's Gran Turismo and they will instantly think of the tire blistering turbocharged all-wheel-drive GT-R version, but Nissan built many more examples of the regular Skyline that was less Daisy Duke and more Driving Miss Daisy. Find this 1987 Nissan Skyline R31 offered for $3,995 in Seattle, WA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.
DT's resident clutch dumper CFlo has been tearing up the track in Black Iron Racing's LM7 V8 powered BMW, read all about it in this article by Muliree Martin on Roadkill. Way to go CFlo, listener Dan, and NT!

A few decades ago if you had $36k burning a hole in your Hammer pants, you could head over to your local Buick dealer and pickup a little convertible called to the Reatta. For $67k in today's money you got something that was basically a 2-door Pontiac Grand Prix with more cowl shake than Shakira after a six pack of Red Bull and a fifth of vodka...but way less fun. Find this 1991 Buick Reatta offered for $17,000 in Summerfield, FL via craigslist. Tip from Matt C.
The Fiat 128 might not be well known around these parts, but it was built in Italian factories (and then later around the world) starting in 1969 and continuing all the way through 1985 with over 3 million cars leaving the assembly lines. Licensed versions of the 128 were built in Eastern Europe and the Third World all the way through 2001, and it was rumored that Enzo Ferrari had one as his daily driver. Find this 1975 Fiat 128 Wagon offered for $3,200 in Lynden, WA via craigslist. Tip from BuickFan.
Depending on how you feel about 80s Japanese sedans this next car is either the spider's ankles or a festering pile of gorilla dung just one head gasket failure away from the scrap heap...and I'd like to think that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Find this 1984 Toyota Cressida offered for $3,500 in Shoreline, WA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

The term hot hatch is tossed about like gonorrhea in a college co-ed dorm building, but what does it really take to be a hot hatch. First, you need a hatch. And then you need powahhhhh....maybe! What you need in a fast hatch is something that is equally at home in a parking lot dodging shopping carts or cones...and for that you need handling. Find this 2004 Ford Focus SVT offered for $2,500 in Houston, TX via craigslist.
It was a long week, and now you've got plans to drive north across the Golden Gate Bridge and get outta town. What do you drive? A classic 911...nah, too expensive. A Volkswagen Van...too hipster. A classic Mustang...too common. How about a 1966 Volvo 122S Amazon offered for $3999 in Burlingame, CA via Craigslist.
