Auction Watch: 2008 Chevrolet Corvette, Owned by Angelyne

Find this 2008 Chevrolet Corvette, Owned by Angelyne here on eBay bidding for $14,100 reserve-not-met with auction ending Sunday at 8:15PM Pacific located in Los Angeles, CA.

If you've spent any time in Los Angeles a few years ago, you will know Angelyne for her buxom billboards that dotted the LA skyline.  For the most part, they've been replaced with advertisements for Univision or the latest big name reality show, but there was a time when those headlights were seen all over town...and I'm talking about this pink C5 vette that has 190k miles on the clock, miles put on by a crazy old lady wearing espadrille wedges and little else.

Angelyne was famous for being famous, those billboard ads weren't an advertisement for a gentleman's club or the latest blue pill -- but it was simply a way for Angelyne to build her brand -- Billboards were the best pre-internet way of promoting yourself.

  1. OMG... the photo with the Weinermobile...classic.

    -Stan (yeah, the *other* Stan...)

    1. If Angelynes' was an emanual at one time, would this be a trans-vette?

  2. Apparently 'famous for being famous' at the junior-varsity level gets you a 2016 'Vette.

Never mind the Kardashians, who've raised to a level so offensive I have a hard time even typing the name.

  3. Must be a recent mild case of food poisoning, but all I could think of was Pepto-Bismol.
