What Am I? Oddball

It's Monday morning, time for DT's guessing game known as What Am I?  For this week's puzzle we've got another picture of some random car-- you get to figure out which car.

  1. Looks like the headlight pod on some kind of prototype racer. Weird shape though.

    1. If I was guessing a race car, I would say the Nissan Delta-Wing, but none of the photos I found match.

  4. It looks a little like an unlimited hydroplane, but DT declares it to be "some random car", so that is out. Oh, and hydroplanes don't usually have lights in their sponsons.

  8. This is the Triton No. 1, a delivery vehicle envisioned by Domino's Pizza in the mid-80s.

    "Only a half an hour away" might be a little optimistic; I've been waiting 30 years and have yet to see one on the road.

    Domino's Pizza Delivery Vehicle 1984 Tritan A2 Aerocar is not a 'car' but a motorcycle per the specs page, just sayin'.
