Selling a 1975 Ford Maverick Grabber.  Strong running, all original car.  I have a folder of receipts back more than 15 years and original owners manual included with it.  Engine, transmission, drivetrain all work well.  High performance clutch works well, paperwork included.  All rust is noted in the pictures.  This is a true "Grabber" car.  Prior owner added the vinyl graphic, that's not original.  The vin code checks out to ID this as a grabber car.  You'll find that all electrics work on car, including heater.  Original Philco radio is included with many other parts.  New shift boot, power steering reservoir, brake shoes, tail lights, gas cap, locking gas cap, hoses, and rear view mirror.  Accelerator pump on carb leaks, needs attention, not an expensive fix.  Car could be driven home, but there is the hole in the sheet metal of the foot well on the drivers side and the accelerator pump that leaks slightly.  Clean Title.   SUPER LOW RESERVE!  Email me with questions.  Happy bidding.  Original 302, V8, 3 speed manual, 8 inch rear.

  3. A friend of mine did this "dream Maverick" back in 1998 for car craft. I think the design is still pretty good.

    1. I saw that car (well, one built very much like it) spin into the median on exiting the Knotts Berry Farm Ford show a few years back...

  4. So the real question is how hard it is to 'rebumper' the '73-up Mavericks.

    1. I love the idea of company that sells Singer(as in Singer Porsche) style $200k Mavericks. You'd sell exactly none, but it would be so sweet.

    2. Did you guys watch J Leno's thing on his Shogun? I have always loved that car. Can't believe they only made 7 of them. Someone needs to buy up the rights and start making them again, I bet they could be made to be even better now.
