Auction Watch: 10,000 B.C. Flintmobile by George Barris

Take a walk on the wild side with this 10,000 B.C. Flintmobile by George Barris here on eBay bidding for $5,955 with auction ending Friday at 4:50PM pacific time.

 From eBay listing:

George Barris Car.   This is one of the cars  used in the 1994 live action feature film Flintstones based off the cartoon show.  This is a Barn find and needs a full restoration
It is the  Flintmobile and, yes, George Barris designed it. Serial number 10,000,000 BC (not really). Ironically it's powered by electricity, not footwork. It is based on an electric golf cart.
It is amazing how much attention it draws even in the condition it is in.
I really hate to sell it but need the room.
The body is on a rollable cart and can be put in a transporter with the cart.

    1. Hey Stig! How is the new Top Gear cast working out?

  4. Dang, the listing has disappeared. That bidding range looks crazy for the real deal. What an opportunity that would have been to own a George Barris creation. Barris is an icon.
