Boy, do I have a soft spot for these. Likely going to go for over $10k (and for that money, you're almost in C5 'vette territory) but soooo tempting. This particular car is nicer than any I've ever seen in person or for sale online.
Always thought these were kinda cool. Not into the Mustang image but these are so Euro sporty they seem a model unto themselves. Mustang guys generally hate 'em so all the more reason to get one.Been watching the value graph on these and it has finally come off it's decades long flat line and is starting to get a more upward angle. So I bought a black 86 a couple of months back. The 86 is the one to have as it has a list of improvements over the previous versions. And...........it's a blast to drive I actually got sideways by accident on the way home from buying it.Vintage turbo lag, whooshig noises and tremendous brakes. Still can't stand those damn wings, plastic trinkets of dubious aerodynamic value. I'm of the belief they are strictly a means to make it look different from the GT and hold up the center brake light.
