The most infamous example of Colin Chapman designing a car to fit Colin Chapman. There's something to be said for the Europa driving experience on the modern road, just as there's something to be said for laying flat on the ground while half a dozen 350-pound women dance over you.
Very nice Europa. Probably a blast to drive. All the right mods. I imagine the reserve is well beyond current bidding. Surprisingly, this is the first time I have seen a Europa where I thought the colour was unattractive. Especially that side shot, where you cannot see any of the stripe, the white does not do any favours for the shape.
This Europa has been on the SFBay CL for a while - http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/ctd/5404238207.html
Thanks Zach. That gives us some idea where the Reserve might be.I wonder if Chip Foose has any spare time he would like to donate? I (grudgingly) liked what he did with a Europa:

Fondly remember going for a drive in a Europa in Japan. Had a lovely lady by my side. We were going to see the leaves changing color. It was a lovely mountain road. At least we think it was. The Armco was taller than our car. Couldn't see a thing.
