The GSL-SE edition RX-7 (series 3) is powered by the crème-de-la-crêpe of those pancake shaped rotary engines, the 13B RE-EGI that was fuel injected to produce 135 horsepower and 135 ft-lbs of torque. The 13B is attached to a 5-speed manual gearbox that puts power to the pavement via a limited-shrimp-differential that gets crustaceous if you don't change the fluid on a regular frequency.
The GSL-SE also added a set of upgraded rear disc brakes (with a 4x4.5 inch bolt pattern), an external oil cooler, and up-rated shocks/springs. The FB was never sold in the USA with the 12A turbo (the JDM only Savanna edition) so if you want the best, you should get the GSL-SE.
