Go Anywhere Motorhome: 1989 Chevrolet G20 Falcon Intervec 4X4

This next feature has so many names listed in the title section that I really don't know what to call it.  Let's break it down:  Chevrolet -- got it, GM; G20 -- Third generation passenger van, built from 1976-1996; Falcon -- like the Millenium Falcon...no, Falcon was a model of converted van by Intervec; Intervec -- was short form name of the now defunct International Vehicles Corporation which created custom motorhomes from vans; 4X4 -- 4 wheel drive.  Got it?  Find this 1989 Chevrolet G20 Falcon Intervec 4x4 Motorhome here on eBay bidding for $14,100 located in Salem, OR.

The G20 was a unibody constructed passenger van that borrowed its mechanical parts from the Chevrolet C-Series trucks and was powered by a variety of available engines located under the driver in a short nose/hood section.  Access to engine components is limited from the front, but you can get to things like the distributor through a large access hole in the cabin....errr living quarters.

Instead of a few mundane rows of seating and some cheap plastic bits, the interior has been totally transformed into what can only be described as the world's smallest class B motorhome.  This is an RV for lovers of those funky tiny houses you see on HGTV.

From the seller: Everything works in it, here is its options: Raised Roof, 4x4 Warn Hubs, Microwave, Gas Stove, Toilet, Shower/Tub, Gas Furnace, Gas Hot Water Heater, Electric Water Pump and Holding tank, Black and Gray Water Tanks, TV Antenna, Ice Cold AC in Dash, Couch and Bed, 2 swivel front seats, ladder, Spare,  and yes even the Kitchen Sink.

  1. For those times when you're 35 years old, divorced, and want to live in a van down by the river.

  2. It would be great to get lost in the mountains in this thing.

  3. Whoa, the Falcon 4x4 logo font is seriously similar to the DT logo font.

    It's...it's a sign.

    2. So....I should buy this? I would need something to live in after the divorce...convenient...

    3. you can already live in the Roadmatress

    4. Yeah, what's going on with Roadmaster??? I still want to buy that thing...

    5. KBZ: brilliant. Muchas gracias por tu ayuda. The font is close enough to cause a "hey!" moment but clearly not identical when blown up and KBZedized.

Vince: yes, you should buy it! Who needs a family, or a house, or a '69 Mustang...?

  4. Love it. Go out in 4x4 wilderness and bring your shag carpet. The mauve-y 80's yes. Girls had long legs and short backs; see that couch?

  5. I love it, but right now I don't love it $14K.

Even if I did I'd need to know what axles, transfer case, etc are under it and the stream-of-consciousness ad is straining my bifocals...
