Did you know that early Jack-o-Lanterns (named after the ficticious Jack who tricks the devil into agreeing to not take his soul, but then is also denied entry into heaven, so he is stuck wandering the earth with a lump of burning coal that the devil threw at him used as a lantern) were carved by Irish folk into turnips? The result is more terrifying than the giant squash/pumpkins used by North Americans...and I don't know where I was going with that thought...hmmm....moving on.
This Eldorado is powered by a 500 cubic inch V8 from a 1970 Cadillac which according to the seller is good for 400 horsepower and 550 ft-lbs of torque. All that power is mated to the front wheels making this thing a big time front wheel peel machine, even with 22 inch rims.

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend just bought this car and had it shipped from California to Chicago he's getting the whole car restoration I was wondering if you would be able to email me the pictures before hand because I know you were the previous owner before you sold it to the one we bought it off of
ReplyDeletehello - clarifying the concept here: we post links to, and discuss, interesting older cars for sale by other people that we find on ebay, craigslist, etc. - the photos you see are what we scraped and posted, and that's all we have
Deletewe would, however, be most interested in posting before and after shots of the upcoming restoration as a "reader ride" feature, and we hope you will stay in touch - all the best from everyone at DT :)
