Another Skywalker: 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

The previous Karmann Ghia was perhaps not up to the typical standard of value that we are used to around here, so I'd like present this next Type 14 as an apology alternative.  Find this 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 14 here on eBay bidding for $3,250 reserve-not-met located in Dayton, OH with 2 days to go.

This Type 14 is also a project, but seems like an original car that needs some reconditioning and less like a car that has been ruined restored by an amateur.  As someone who has spent many hours trying to understand what the previous owner of a vehicle has done to it, I can say there is something nice about an original car that is dilapidated but you can use a factory service manual to understand what is going on.

See a better example of an inexpensive Type 14?
