One last quick feature before I take the kids out trick-and-treating, and this is one I wouldn't mind finding in my candy bucket. The sixth generation Ford F-series was produced from 1973 through 1979 on a chassis that was first released in 1965. It was during this generation that the F-series took the prize as the best-selling truck in America, a title it has maintained ever since. Find this 1975 Ford F-250 here on eBay bidding for $23,000 reserve-not-met with a few hours to go, located in West Jordan, UT.

Astute readers may remember the little Golf yellow '73 BMW 2002 we like to call der Schmetterling, which my wife picked up for a song last year. We haven't had any project car updates on it because, well...it's not really a project, yet. We've been driving it, enjoying it, and doing a minimum of tweaking and maintenance where needed. For Hallowe'en however, I thought it needed to get in on the party, and besides, DT needs its own Horrorod after all the posts we've shared over the years featuring other people's terrible creations.
We continue our DTween celebration of horrors with this next car, a Cadillac Eldorado that has been mildly donked with 22 inch rims and a raised suspension. It actually looks menacing and sorta scary in the seller's parking garage pictures. Find this 1967 Cadillac Eldorado here on eBay bidding for $4,850 reserve-not-met with 3 days to go and $7,500 buy-it-now located in North Hollywood, CA.

Time for another Coffee Brake, but this week instead of providing a subject for discussion, I am going to open it up for you, the reader. Go ahead, ask something of your fellow DT reader, mention what you are doing this weekend, whatever.
Prices for the E30 generation M3 may have skyrocketed to preposterous figures in the past few years (particularly this past year) but that doesn't mean you can't buy a simple E30 sedan and boost it up with a supercharger, lower it...whoa, whoa...this is getting pricey. What not just buy someone elses project and save your money. Like this 1988 Bmw 325is E30 here on eBay bidding for $7,600 with 1 day to go, located in Salem, OR.
Top Gear USA (starring racer Tanner Foust, car nerd Rutledge Wood, and inexplicably annoying Adam Ferrara) was in its fifth season last summer but nothing was ever filmed/released this summer. It is probably a good bet that the show has been canned, but nothing official so far....which is a shame because it was a good show, far more watchable than the terrible car-related nonsense that is produced by Velocity and other channels. If you are (were?) a fan of Top Gear USA, this next car will be of interest because it appears to be the car built by Tanner Foust for a 2011 challenge. Find this 1986 BMW 325e from Top Gear USA Series 2 Episode 1 here on eBay offered for $3,200 buy-it-now located in Athens, GA.

In 1990 Stanley Kirk Burrell (also known as M.C. Hammer) released his Album Please hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em which featured his signature song U Can't Touch This. Coincidentally this was the same year that Mercedes-Benz released their untouchable Hammer into the world, in the form of the 1991 through 1994 model year 500E. Find this 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E W124 here on eBay bidding for $12,100 reserve-not-met located in Scottsdale, AZ with 1 day to go.
Welcome to another edition of the Thursday Twister, DT's favorite brake from reality where we twist words upon themselves to form sentence pretzels -- aka sentzels. Today's Twister topic is topical because Saturday is All Hallows Eve...so get into the spirit of things and pick your favorite scary car.
One of conundrums facing the buyer of vintage iron is the decision to keep to stock/original or modify it. It is your car and you can do what you want, but if the car is original and untouched there is this overwhelming consensus from car guys that you should leave it alone, even if it drives pretty horribly stock and comes with a vinyl top. Like this 1968 AMC Rebel SST 343 offered for $10,500 in Eugene, OR via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.
Back in the 1980s if you wanted a car that could transform from a coupe to a convertible to shooting brake to a pickup there was only one place to go -- your local Nissan dealer. The second generation Nissan Pulsar NX (known as the EXA in Japan) was produced from 1986 through 1990 with a unique changeable rear canopy and the coolest set of taillights on the road. Find this 1988 Nissan Pulsar NX-Camino here on eBay bidding for $370 reserve-not-met with 3 days to go, located in La Habra, CA. Tip from Brian.

Another Jeep horrorod so soon? Yes, but this one isn't simply surrounded by scary zombie corpse people, this one is far more startling -- just look at that stance. Find this 1989 Jeep Wrangler custom offered for $10,000 in St Augustine, FL via craigslist. Tip from James.
It isn't every day that someone offers a free car on the internet, and even less frequent when someone offers to give you a car if you beat him at Guitar Hero 3. Seems extremely strange and probably a joke, but the worst thing that can happen is you play some Guitar Hero and don't get a car. Find this 1991 Nissan Silvia offered here on Kijiji.ca to someone who can beat the owner at Guitar Hero 3 on Xbox located in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.
I have a request. My friends back east are looking for something "fun" and "topless", and vastly different than what I think of when those two words are together.
Married, two young kids. They are looking at a 2005 Mini convertible. Personally if I were going the mini route I'd go with the original one, instead of the newer models, but their idea of fun is driving it, not working on it. Not my choice of course but I've also heard bad things about the maintenance costs, burning through clutches, etc.
