Happy 4th of July America: 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible C3

Happy 4th of July to all the freedom lovers around this great country. It is time to celebrate the best of American freedom, and I can't think of a better example of freedom than the C3 Corvette, not just because the handling feels like the chassis is free from the suspension, but also because 'Murica.  Find this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible C3 here on eBay offered for $21,555.55 with one day to go, located in Lincoln, NE.

The C3 Corvette is often ridiculed for being one of the least sporty of the Corvettes, but the body shape is admired by many.  It is the perfect combination of looking good, being marginally overweight, not very athletic, and V8 bark louder than bite, to represent the average American.

If this isn't the most 'Murican car...what is? Comments below.  Happy 4th!

  3. The choice of a '74 is also appropriate, as it represents the point at which the overwhelming mass of the admininstrative law state created by FDR and dramatically expanded by LBJ and Nixon began to stomp the auto industry.

  5. There's something about the lines of this body style in a rag top that I always liked. Prefer it in black though!
