5k: American Style: 1966 Lincoln Continental 2-Door

The Lincoln Continental was canceled after the 2002 model year, its long run (over 75 years) of American luxury came to an end as buyers demanded more modern driving experience.  Recent concept cars released by Lincoln show a possible re-birth of the giant sedan, but in the meantime, you'll have to settle for a used version.  Like this 1966 Lincoln Continental 2-Door here on eBay currently bidding for $5,600 with a few hours to go, located in Ormond Beach, FL.

The 4th generation Lincoln Continental (1961-1969) is a big classic Elwood Engel design that exudes cool, but isn't out of the reach of the average Joe.  The suicide door sedan version is iconic and expensive, but you can pickup a 2-door hardtop version in great shape for cheap.
