20k: Classy: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta TI Berlina

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta tipo 750/101 was a gorgeous piece of Italian art built by Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965.  The Berlina was the sedan version that isn't seen as often as the Sprint (coupe) or Spider (convertible), but is cool nonetheless.  This particular example is the more desirable TI (Turismo Internazionale) Berlina and has been freshly imported from Italy.  Find this 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta TI Berlina offered here on eBay offered for $24,500 buy-it-now or make-offer located in New Egypt, NJ.  Tip from Ignacio.

If you get a feeling of déjà vu from these photos, you are not alone.  Vintage Alfa collection in background, photos taken with a cheap camera and by someone who is jumping on a trampoline.  This is the same seller as the Lancia Fulvia from the other week. How hard is it to take a few clear photographs in a well lit garage??  Pro tip: If you import Italian classics and sell them on eBay for a living, buy a $35 tripod for your camera.

Under the hood of this TI is the instantly recognizable Alfa Romeo dual-overhead-cam all alloy inline-4.   Expect 74 horsepower from the 1.3 liter engine and a top speed of 97 mph.  It will be slower than just about everything on the road today, but who cares, it just means you get to spend more time in this beauty.

Cosmetically this car is in good shape, the paint looks nice (aside from some noted bubbles) and the interior is fully intact.  The seller claims that a previous owner (in Italy) rebuilt it a few years ago and afterwards it was only driven to car shows.

  1. Looks like a Matta in the background of the 3rd picture. Leave it to the Italians to build a jeep with an all aluminum DOHC.

    1. It is really hard to get info on the Matta. Each time I ask my Italian mechanic, he says Nothings a matta. What's a matta with you?

  2. Price seems high for a sedan version with paint bubbles......but I love that garage

  3. Oh this garage again. I want to just go and drive the cars and drink a cappuccino.

    1. Maybe the cappuccino explains the shaky photos? I get a bit twitchy after having a few too many...
