15k: Under Wraps: 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 440

In 1965 the Coronet name (retired from the full sized platform in 1959) was revived for the mid-sized B-body platform (shared with Plymouth Belvedere, Savoy, GTX, Road Runner and Dodge Charger). The Coronet R/T was the model to get in 1967 as it was powered by a tweaked version of the 440 cubic inch Magnum V8.  Find this 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 currently bidding for $12,700 here on eBay with one day to go, located in Cleveland, TN.

This car is offered from a seller who was in such a hurry to take pictures that he didn't entirely remove the plastic sheet protectors.  It almost looks like the car has been tucked in for the night, but the current bidding price seems well below what a big block Mopar that has been frame off restored should go for.

The 440 cubic inch V8 is fed via a four barrel carburetor and rated at 375 horsepower in the "RB" Magnum trim.  Mated to a 3 speed automatic, this car will make a fantastic Friday night cruiser and car show queen.

The interior looks in decent shape, but it is hard to tell from the photos.  This is either a seller who was in a hurry or does a really good job of looking like he isn't a professional flipper.   A quick scan of eBay items confirms that this looks like an individual thinning his collection.  There is a good chance this car will show back up on eBay in a few weeks with professional photos and a lady in a mini-skirt standing in front of it.  Expect the asking price to double, the lady has needs.

See another Mopar classic for less?
