1k: California Patina: 1969 Ford Econoline 200 SuperVan

If you like a project with some character, you might want to take a close look at this next feature.  It comes to us from tipper Chebby who writes --  "Beautiful california patina" is the best description of 'creepy molester fungus' I have ever heard."  Find this 1969 Ford Econoline 200 SuperVan currently bidding for $1,000 reserve-not-met with 6 days to go, located somewhere in California via ebay.

The Econoline Van was revamped in 1969 as a replacement for the compact Falcon based cab-over first generation E-series. The new generation of E-series used a more conventional forward axle setup and allowed for the use of V8 powerplants and less sketchy handling.

Tipper Chebby is right in his concern for creepy molester fungus because the inside of this thing is gnarly.  Budget for a professional crime scene style cleanup team to descuz it and maybe a few dozen bug bombs.

  3. Ah nice, you posted it! I feel sorry for the poor old Econoline.

Good God Mr. Seller, take a Scotch-Brite pad to this thing, scrape the mold off the roof, paint the wheels and bumpers and add some hubcaps. Then maybe you'll be allowed to park it in the neighborhood.
