10k Flash: 1953 Studebaker 2R Pickup w/ Chevy V8

We love shopping for Christmas gifts last minute and this is really down to the wire...but here is your last chance to pickup a sweet vintage pickup and put it under the tree for someone special.  This 1953 Studebaker 2R pickup  with Chevy V8 is offered for sale in Castle Rock, CA for buy-it-now of $8,500 or best offer on ebay with less than 15 hrs to go.

Looks to be a decent daily driver, but is being offered as an un-restored classic and would need considerable work if you wanted to win car shows.

The Chevy 350 fits nicely in the engine bay, and the seller admits that it does need some work - has leaky main seals and smokes a bit.

More work to do on the inside!

Not a bad looking little truck-rod, yes it needs some help, but we are suckers for a project with a small block Chevy V8 and think this thing deserves a second look.

  1. Cool truck, but 8500 is too much. Maybe if it had no rust-through or the engine was fresh.
